Why Images Are So Important for Your Website
Today’s Marketing Hack of the Day: Why using images throughout your blog post are so important.
[This is a transcription from the Clickx Marketing Hack of the Day video series.]
Throughout your pages you want to use images to engage the user.
Search engines can read images and it can read the altar call text of every image. Essentially, the search engine can read the file name if its SEO optimized and it’s going to help search engines when someone searches for something.
As I go and read content on websites I really want to make sure its not just content and that it is going to be interactive and its going to give me an info graphics or even a relevant video post.
So when you create content make sure you really break up your content so it’s not just text it really won’t be as engaging to the audience as it would if you had visuals, images, info graphics or videos. Not only does it give the audience something to look at that will be more appealing than just text it may also help the audience get a better understanding of your content and that is essentially what you want for your audience.
Also your page won’t look boring and will be enticing as possible for the audience to stay and share or even convert them into a subscriber or a customer.
Really aim for as many relevant photos as you can on your website although not too many but enough for the audience to find your page appealing in order to convey your topic.
Go to your website and see how many photos you have and are those photos optimized? In my opinion, I believe the more photos you add the more value you add to your page so don’t forget to go back and look at your current assets and see how you can actually enhance the conversion for those pages.
