Visit the Google Search Console website and sign into your Google account. Once you're signed in, type your domain in the field and click on the "Add a Property" button.
Get the code you need to monitor the website. It'll be located in the HTML tag under the Alternative Method. Copy everything in the quotes following "content=."
Log in to your WordPress website and access the Dashboard. In the menu, hover over SEO and select the Search Console.
Enter the copied code in the Google Authorization Code field and click Authenticate.
Go back to the Google Search Console and click "Verify." You should receive a message confirming that your website is verified. Once you have verified your website, you can also submit your sitemap.
