This is perhaps the biggest myth of SEO. Far from being a one-time deal, SEO is a long-term strategy that requires commitment and dedication. If an SEO company tells you that they can guarantee you top rank on search engine results page (SERP), you should walk away. Not only is this very difficult, Google and search engines in general frown upon SEO companies that guarantee such results.
