Shocking Ways to Utilize Pop-Ups
Today’s Marketing Hack of the Day: How to use exit pop-ups.
[This is a transcription from the Clickx Marketing Hack of the Day video series.]
Exit Pop-Ups Are A Powerful Tactic
That’s right, using an exit intent pop-up to keep visitors from leaving your website and eventually converting into customers.
If you’re interested in grabbing their information this is one of the biggest tactic that will always work every single time.
You want to give them a ridiculous offer ,whatever it may be, it could be ‘20% off your first order’ or you know ‘10% off’ or even give it away for free just to grab their email address. Essentially that’s what you really want to do because 98% of the people won’t come back to a website.
Capture Visitor Information In Exchange For A Valuable Offer
Only about two percent of people will come back therefore, when they’re leaving your site you want to make sure you’ve got one last chance to get their email address.
This is actually the biggest list building tactic that we use to convert visitors to customers because not everybody’s ready to buy not everybody’s ready to give up their information you might just be lucky and you might get their email address that is why this tactic works because there are countless people that are willing to give their information in exchange for some sort of an offer such as 20% off.
So, if you’re not using this act I would suggest you go ahead and give it a shot.
If you have any questions feel free to leave it in the comments section and I will be more
than glad to address them in future videos.

pop up ads are very annoying but placing your ads in less noticeable part of your website makes more user friendly.
